To provide persons charged with the responsibilities of Fire Risk Assessment, Safe Evacuation and
Fire containment with the essential knowledge and skills to execute their responsibilities in a safe
manner.

Delegates will acquire the underpinning knowledge to complete a Fire Risk assessment, provide
assistance and guidance to others concerning the risk of fire, fire prevention, organise safe
evacuation procedures and understand the safe limits of combating a fire.

- Common Features of Fire Procedures.
- Individual Aspects of Fire Procedures.
- Action on Discovering a Fire.
5: Using Fire Extinguishers
- Colour Coding of Extinguishers.
- Location and Operation Instructions.
6: Fire Risk Assessment
- Identify fire hazards.
- Identify the location of people at risk.
- Evaluate the risks.
- Record findings and action taken.
- Keep assessment under review.
