Course Aims To comply with the appropriate Health and Safety Regulations applicable to manual handling operations in the work place.
To provide delegates with the competence to assess manual handling tasks and work safely, efficiently and effectively and the confidence to advise others in their department.
Course Outcome At the end of the workshop the delegates will be able to assess and organise their manual handling activities to provide the most ergonomic method and adopt work practices that will minimise the risk to health and safety.
Special Notes Delegates will be required to participate in the course by lifting and carrying loads under supervision.
Course Cost £500 delivered onsite.

Review of the Task
  • Risk assessment of the manual handling operation in its environment.
  • Identifying the manual handling options and assessing methods.
