Course title Security & Loss Prevention Foundation Course Course duration 7 Days on site 5 Days Class, 4 Weeks Assessment, and 2 Days Class Awarding body (SROCN) National Open College Network Course Aims The course is designed for security officers who have had little or no formal security training. The first five days training takes place in the classroom guiding the student through the knowledge-based requirements of the British Standard 7499. There is then a break for individual assessment (usually 4 weeks) followed by two final days in the classroom. Course Outcome This course will provide the candidate with a better understanding of issues and techniques, which are essential for managing the safety and security of organisations within today's social environment.
