5 Days Class, 4 Weeks Assessment, and 2 Days Class

Course Aims The course is designed for security officers who have had little or no formal security training. The first five days training takes place in the classroom guiding the student through the knowledge-based requirements of the British Standard 7499.
There is then a break for individual assessment (usually 4 weeks) followed by two final days in the classroom.
Course Outcome This course will provide the candidate with a better understanding of issues and techniques, which are essential for managing the safety and security of organisations within today's social environment.
Special Notes The content of the course provides suitable underpinning knowledge to prepare candidates to progress to the SITO/City & Guilds 7268 NVQ Level 2, Security, and Safety & Loss Prevention.
